I am thinking about snagging a PSC for my next ride, I have been digging into the 40 and 44 models. I get the 44's the older one, but other than size, what's the real difference?
I'm actually a fan of the PSC, though I don't own one just yet lol. A similar option is a Shannon 43 in Deltaville that just had a significant price drop and its an awesome rig, check it out on yachtworld.
The main differences are in layout and amenities, the 44 usually has a more spacious cabin, updated features, and sometimes better performance options compared to the 40. What's your priority?
Depends on what you're looking for. If you want a cruiser with a herratage feel the 44 is the better choice. If you're after a better sailer the 40 will do a better job.
Size is the big one, yeah, but the 44 is also a bit heavier and built with more traditional lines, the 40 is more modern, better layout down below, and easier to single hand
