Looking for lee cloth installation tips on PS34

I'm looking for input from anyone who's added lee cloths to the settees on a PS34 (Pacific Seacraft 34), I'm curious how you went about installing them, especially the hardware you used and how well it's held up. Windrunner might've had them before, there are signs along the inboard edge of the port settee

Great choice with the lee cloths! I've come across people using Phifertex mesh trimmed with Sunbrella edging. They secure it along the outer edge with an aluminum strip and use bronze loops along the top, complete with cord and snaps. It's tough and still lets you access storage easily.

Are you leaning towards grommets or sewn-in loops for your setup?

I've been leaning toward sewn-in loops for flexibility, but grommets sound sturdier long-term, I might try a combo depending on the location. Do you find Phifertex holds shape well after extended use?

I've used Phifertex with both sewn-in loops and grommets, the combo works great. The material holds shape surprisingly well over time, even in high-stress spots, as long as you reinforce the edges and avoid overstretching.
